These rules keep Zeseva safe, fair, and neighbourly.
What You Can Share
Items are graded on condition from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent). Categories marked "condition grading required" will prompt you to select a grade and upload at least one photo before your listing goes live.

What You Cannot Share

Community Rules
Be honest about condition. List items accurately. If it's worn, say so. A fair lender builds a strong reputation.
Respond to requests. If you can't lend right now, decline promptly. Three unanswered requests will hide your listing automatically.
Return on time. If you need more time, contact the lender before the due date. Overdue returns affect your reputation.
Use the app for handoffs. Always confirm pickup and return through Zeseva. Photos protect both of you.
Keep it neighbourly. Be the kind of neighbour you'd want to borrow from.
Don't share the invite link outside your building. Zeseva works because of trust. Invite codes are for your building's residents only.
Disputes happen โ handle them fairly. If something goes wrong, raise a dispute within 48 hours with honest evidence. Don't exaggerate damage. False claims are treated as a serious violation.
Violations & Consequences

| Abusive behaviour toward neighbours | First offence: warning + 7-day mute. Repeated offence: permanent ban. |

How Reporting Works
See something that doesn't belong? You can report any listing directly from its detail page using the "Report" option. Reports go to your building admin for review.
Zeseva also uses two additional methods to catch policy violations:
- Automatic keyword detection โ listings matching banned item names are flagged for admin review before going live.
- Periodic admin review โ building admins and platform moderators review new and active listings regularly.
Flagged listings are reviewed within 24 hours. You will be notified if your listing is removed, along with the reason.
